Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is a national organization of local chapters which provide after-school programs for young people. The organization has its headquarters in Atlanta.
I was brought in as a consulting Art Director to help the Creative Services team at Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Headquarters. Among the projects I helped to lead, fix, or complete was the logo design for BGCA.net, their corporate intranet.
With recent departmental changes in personnel and leadership, many hands pushed this project in many directions, in-between periods of neglect. I reviewed what had come before, and interviewed decision makers about what was working and what wasn't. We got this project on a structured draft & review schedule. We quickly got several viable drafts in front of stakeholders, and finalized the logo’s design and implementation ahead of schedule.
