About the Brand

I’m a mid-career Art Director, Graphic Designer & Illustrator with a passion for Visual Communication. I’ve got a fairly diverse background and skill set. I think the commonality is problem solving.

 

 

Responsibilities

I wanted to develop a marketing campaign for EricKStevens.com that was bold and showcased my Illustration skills, since that’s something that I don't always get to use with clients and employers.

 

 

Results

I ended up really wanting to challenge myself with this project. I wanted it to look clean but hand-drawn, rather than a CGI render. I took a very limited color set and very simple graphical elements (thin parallel lines) and ended up building a rebrand. So much of what we do professionally is for an employer or a client. Sometimes it’s easier to solve the challenges of someone else’s projects than our own. I like where this went, and used it for a self-promotional marketing push.
